ATTENTION. If you’re reading this and you happen to be a fellow devoted fan of Arctic Monkeys or The Strokes, you must check out Likely Lads, a 4 piece rock band from York, and fall in love with them instantaneously. When I first listened to this track, I got that same feeling when I first listened to Arctic Monkeys’ A Certain Romance.
No surprise if you think their music is reminiscent of the bands I said earlier. When asked what their influences and favourite bands are, they dropped names like Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Smiths, The Strokes, The Libertines and Miles Kane. Really digging their sound! This is definitely the band to look out for.
